Let Go.

Today, I make the commitment to move forward.

I’ve come to realize that understanding someone isn’t something you should have to fight for. If a person truly cherishes you, they won’t need you to prove your intentions—they will already know your heart. They will recognize that even in moments of misunderstanding, you have always meant well.

I know, personally, that when someone wrongs me, I always give them a chance to explain before taking further action. That’s because I believe in fairness, grace, and allowing people the opportunity to be heard. But I’ve also learned that not everyone will do the same in return—and that’s okay.

When someone is truly faithful to God, it shows. You will see His love in their heart—expressed through grace, humility, and kindness, not vengeance or vindictiveness. They won’t shift blame onto you when they are in the wrong. Instead, they will have an open heart, ready to seek understanding rather than avoiding it.

And even if you make a mistake—or ten million mistakes—someone who truly loves you, who genuinely cares for you, and who does not seek to have the upper hand, will always open their heart to understanding you, just as Jesus would. Love does not withhold grace. True love, the kind that reflects Christ, chooses patience, kindness, and forgiveness over power and control.

And this is the Jesus that lives within me.
If you do me wrong, I will still love you.
If you do me wrong, I will still support you.
Because that is what true faith looks like—loving even when it’s not easy, giving grace even when it’s not deserved.

I understand spiritual warfare and how the enemy works. The devil can manipulate things, twist realities, and make things seem far worse than they are. He can make confusion look like truth and lies look like clarity. But when it all comes down to it, the devil will always try to insert himself into a place where he knows that God’s plan will prevail. He does this because he knows that God is above all things and that nothing can stand against Him.

That’s why when you start something, it must be grounded in faith and good intentions. There are things in my life that I started with faith as my foundation. Though the road may seem rough, I trust in one thing: God’s plan will always prevail.

It’s just like planting a seed.
When you plant a seed for a tree, that tree is what will grow—unless the soil or the water is bad. But if you plant that seed in the place where it is meant to be, where it was always meant to grow, it will flourish and thrive to the best it can be.

There are times when we are forced to make difficult decisions, especially when we deeply care for someone. It’s painful to let go, but one thing remains true:
You should never sacrifice your mental well-being for the sake of holding onto someone who does not nurture your spirit.

What you can do, however, is keep them in prayer. You can choose to love unconditionally, just as Jesus loves us, without needing to hold onto what is not meant for you.

And no matter what religion you follow—or if you don’t follow any at all—letting go is something we all have to learn. Things won’t always be in your control, and that’s okay. You don’t have to control them. Some things, you just have to release.

The past two months have been some of the hardest I’ve ever faced. But through it all, I’ve learned one of the most important lessons:

Let go, and let God.

I have done this, and now can now say I am in peace.
